We got a new grandaughter this week! Her name is Pamela, and we're glad to have her in the family! She came by the office to meet Papaw, Nina, Uncle Keith and Aunt Randi, and of course Maggie. Here are a few photos of "the girls" playing "Bride." We're not sure which one had more fun. |

It was a "hair raising" experience!!! |
|
|
|
A dozen or so teen aged young ladies (and a few of their moms) converged on the office and studio for a 15th birthday party for our granddaughter, and apprentice professional photographer, Meghan. The idea was that they would have their hair and makeup done, and then have their portraits made. A special thank you to Mary Kay Cosmetics, Canon Cameras, a few patient cosmowhatever they call it hair folks, Custom Creations Cakes, Bubbles and Bells wedding accessories, and a very patient uncle Keith who edited all the photos, not to mention a mom and two aunts who slaved away to make it happen.
Enjoy the photos. Blackmail versions are available, and will be held in reserve for special occassions!

| Not long ago, we had the opportunity to take a few days to just travel. One of the places we visited was the Lighthouse in St. Augustine, FL.
Constructed of Alabama brick and Philadelphia iron, and completed in 1874, the lighthouse has been undergoing restoration for over 25 years.

| No wedding this week, so we thought we would share a little more of Maggie. Some folks have dropped by to see her, and she welcomes every one. In fact, she's the first to the door to greet every visitor, on her "work" days, .
Last week she received a package addressed to her, from our friends David, Krista, and Melissa Weygand, owners of "Pets and Company" in Concord, N.C. ( Their Website )

We were all in the back after lunch and Maggie kept going over getting on one of the backdrops we still had up after a photo session the other day. Finally, we figured out that she wanted to have HER photos taken, so Randi and Keith got on the floor with her. Take a look at what we got. She's loving this coming to work three days each week!

Meet Maggie. She's new around the office, but not new to the family. She's been living with Randi and Keith for a little over ten months. Now's she's going to be coming to the office several days each week performing "guard dog" duties -
